Natural Easy Horse Training

I have many trainers as clients that send me their two-year-olds to get them started. This enables them to spend more time in the saddle on horses that are ready to begin or continue training in their discipline, making the most of their time and creating a better value for their customers. Some of my recent clients include Josette Conti Performance Horses, Werner Ranch Horses now in Oklahoma, Welshan’s Quarter Horses, Painted Breeze Farm, and of course Rob Foster.

Through proper round pen training, I establish a level of respect necessary for preparing them for their first ride and beyond. Once on their back, I begin to teach them to move forward at all three gaits. They learn to work off their hindquarters, stop, and turn on their haunches. My horses become light and responsive, giving at the poll and guiding freely.

Another part of my program is to expose all of our horses to many different situations, getting them ready to handle the show environment. I will get them out of the round pen and arenas and on the trails as soon as possible. I will introduce them to and get them comfortable with riding in groups of other horses, cattle and cattle chutes, riding in and around traffic, along with many other potentially stressful situations.

What I will deliver back to you is a horse with confidence and a solid foundation to build on.
